When called, accompany the client around town on errands/shopping. Low maintenance/client not very active. No actual “protection” work. More like babysitting. No need for law enforcement background. No need to be armed. But must be articulate and professional.

IBM is looking to expand our Security Intelligence & Operations (SIOC) competency in our North America Security Services practice which focuses on helping our clients build their security intelligence and operations centers from setting a strategy/roadmap, or optimizing an existing Security Operations Center (SOC) using our proven methodology.
Our goal in our SIOC practice for our consultants is to become a “trusted advisor” to our clients, that can speak to all levels of client management from security analysts to director / c-level executives, in the areas of security intelligence and operations including advance persistent threats (APTs) relevant to our clients industry, advanced security controls, incident response process and procedures, metrics and analytics, with knowledge of various security technologies (e.g. security information and event management (SIEM), incident response tools, etc.)
The Security Intelligence Consultant will analyze information and intelligence relevant to threats facing the systems, infrastructure, and resources. Ideal candidates should have experience with analyzing cyber threats and security intelligence as well as determining indicators of compromise that are relevant to the environment. Must display enthusiasm and interest in Information Security.
Provide initial analysis of security intelligence feeds
Provide communication and escalation to supervisor for severe intelligence findings
Hunt for indicators of compromise, using various toolsets, based on intelligence gathered
Take an active part in the gathering, analysis, and communication of threat intelligence through the intelligence process
Escalate issues when necessary
Provide briefings to senior staff
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of security intelligence threats and threat actors.
Knowledge of log formats for syslog, http logs, DB logs and how to gather forensics for traceability back to event
Knowledge of packet capture and analysis
Experience with log management or security information management tools
Experience with security assessment tools (NMAP, Nessus, Metasploit, Netcat)
Ability to make information security risk determinations based on threat intelligence analysis
Ability to work easily with diverse and dynamic teams
Ability to work in a matrix management model
Ability to manage multiple client engagements or projects
Ability to lead and deliver a project based on different project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or client model)
Effective writing, communication and presentation skills

The Professional Security Officer is the heart of Allied Universal Services. Residential Protective Coverage
Serve as primary center point for disseminating information regarding security-related incidents on the property, as well as in the field.
Coordinate contingency plans and emergency medical response for security incidents at the residence and in the field.

Systematically monitor early-warning detection systems, security alarms, and cameras to identify and resolve security risks.

Regional Security Director – Americas

Strategic Security, a national security company is seeking active law enforcement for armed security officers for static security posts to support various clients including FEMA throughout North Carolina for Hurricane Response. The hours and days of coverage will vary.
GUARD II (Armed Guard) Pay Rate $17-$25 ph + 1 week paid vacation if full time and 401K
Carries out instructions primarily oriented toward access control, conflict resolution, insuring that emergencies and security violations are readily discovered and reported to appropriate authority. Intervenes directly only in situations which require minimal action to safeguard property or persons.
Duties require standard training and the guard is required to demonstrate physical fitness.
Minimum Educational, Experiential Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited high school or a Certificate of Completion of General Education Development requirements; and meet one of the following experience / education requirements: Must already possess a VALID ARMED SECURITY LICENSE ISSUED BY NC PPSB in good standing and posses a valid unrestricted carry license.
