Grant Funderburg
Grant Funderburg is licensed Personal Protection Officer and Private Investigator located in Houston, TX. A United States Marine Corps combat-veteran, Grant began his personal protection career by graduating from ESI in 2016 in their Executive Protection and High Threat Protective Operations (PSD) courses. In 2017 he also completed ESI's Covert Protection, Surveillance/Surveillance Detection, Designated Defensive Marksman (DDM) courses. Additionally, Grant is a graduate of Vehicle Dynamics Institute's Protective Driving Training/Mobile Surveillance school, Tactical Medicine (T-CCC), as well as, Gavin DeBecker's 10-Day Essential Protection Skills (EPS) course. Grant is currently the owner of Darkside Investigations based in Houston, TX and is currently attending National American University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Security and Protection Management. As a Rifleman in the Marine Corps, Grant deployed to Iraq from 2005-2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he received awards such as: Combat Action Ribbon, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Unit Commendation, and the Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary Medals. As a personal protection officer, Grant has been on protective details for High Net Worth (HNW) individuals such as: CEO's, celebrities, and politicians. Through his education and experience, Grant has demonstrated his professionalism, integrity, and capability.
