Certified Protection Specialist
Ken KLEIN Certified Protection Specialist
Mr. Ken Klein is an experienced business professional who quickly advanced to the director level in the oil and gas industry. However, a strong inner knowing to be a protector has always been with him and he eventually identified his true calling in the protection space. He recently graduated from Executive Security International’s, Executive Protection and Evasive Driving programs. Mr. Klein’s experience in business combined with the strategic mind of a protector make him valuable team asset. He holds multiple security and emergency certifications and licenses.
In 2011, Ken entered the energy industry as a crude oil logistics analyst. By 2015 he had advanced to a director role in commercial crude with a privately held energy firm. Prior to exiting the energy space, Mr. Klein chose to follow his ever-growing inner voice to protect people, and sought the help of a consultant. After months of collaboration to identify synergies between his natural talents and passions, being a security specialist was the answer. An uncompromising goal to build the best foundation possible for this new endeavor eventually led Mr. Klein to ESI, the “Harvard of protection schools”. Among his classmates, he received the, “Best Overall Achievement Award”, “Best Individual Achievement Award”, and graduated with honors.
Ken received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business. He graduated Cum Laude and was recognized by the Beta Gamma Sigma and Golden Key honor societies, as well as seven Dean’s List appointments. Ken was also active in chair positions while a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity at CU. Athletics has always been a cornerstone of his life, including lacrosse, off-road motorsports, skiing, upland bird hunting, and physical conditioning. Interestingly, being an INTP personality type, Ken is hard wired as a logical, questioning thinker and passionate seeker of knowledge. It is also a strong intuition and strategic approach to all decisions that make him a valuable E.P. professional.
