Mark joined the United States Marine Corps just after High School where he spent 8 years on Active Duty, working as a Helicopter Crew Chief and Aerial Weapons Instructor, then he joined the Massachusetts Department of State Police in 1994 and continued for the next 4 years to serve his country in the USMC Reserves serving on the ground side as a Scout Sniper / Forward Observer in STA Platoon with the 25th Marines and as a Supply Chief until his Honorable Discharge from the Marine Corps in 1998. Mark joined the Massachusetts Department of State Police in 1994 and served honorably for the next 21 years while continuing to protect the citizens of this country.
While serving with the State Police Mark worked in many locations around the Commonwealth as a patrol officer and at the State Police Academy in the Firearms Training Unit and The Health & Fitness Unit training and forming the future Troopers of the Commonwealth. He also served as a Tactical Medic with the Public Order Platoons during the 2004 Democratic Convention. It is from working in this environment, 12 years as a US Marine and 21 years as a road trooper, that Mark has gained his “Real World” experience in identifying and handling dangerous situations.
In 2011, Mark attended and graduated from Executive Security International's Executive Protection Resident Training; ESI's premier program that produces well-rounded security-minded students.
Since 2012, Mark has been working executive protection details for Corporate CEO’s and Syndicated Television Celebrities.
In 2013, Mark became one of ESI’s Primary Firearms Instructors, where he still serves today.
In 2014, Mark became ESI’s Lead Tactical Medicine Instructor for their “PSD Protective Operations” and “Tac-Med” Courses.
Mark is a “Qualified Retired Law Enforcement Professional” and Certified Protection Specialist with decades of real world experience in dealing with difficult situations and persons. He would be an asset to any security detail.
