Security has been a rewarding and valuable addition to my primary career as a corporate pilot. I use my training and experience in the security profession in a multi-layer approach to promote aviation specific security for stakeholders at general aviation airports and advanced services for flight crews and traveling executives.
I am an advocate for raising the standards of business aviation through security and medical contingency planning and diversified services.
I’ve worked with most every kind of aircraft and business in the aviation industry. I've served as a pilot and aircraft technician for major and regional airlines, heavy and expedited air freight, repair stations, check hauling, air ambulance, search and rescue, aircraft manufacturing, experimental flight testing, charter, managed aircraft and private executive operations. I’m currently a Gulfstream 450/550 Captain living in China.
I'm a certified Executive Protection Specialist through Executive Security International with additional training through TRIAD and Federal Air Marshal training. I’m an Emergency Medical Technician basic with I.V and Wilderness EMT certifications. I teach CPR/AED, aviation medicine and First Aid. I’ve combined my pilot, maintenance, security and medical skills to provide my passengers with travel services that represent the highest standard of care in terms of assuring the welfare of the passengers and the success of their entire trip.
I have represented the Colorado Airport Business Association’s community group at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport for four years as chairman and I've been the Chairman of the Airport Operations, Safety and Security Committee for the association as well.
The joy of my work has been second only to that of my family. I'm blessed with a wonderful wife and three great kids. We are Denver natives. I'm a Metropolitan State College Aerospace graduate as well as Colorado Aero Tech. I enjoy skiing, scuba diving, rock climbing, shooting and all things related to aviation.
