Ryan began his strong base in customer service in the hospitality industry. Originally trained as a Chef, Ryan worked in many fine dining establishments and has been seasoned to the stressors of fast paced and demanding work while maintaining a sharp focus on artistry, and excellent guest satisfaction.
From there, Ryan began training in the area of ministry, pastoral care, and ancient near-eastern theology. He founded and led a small missional community that focused on serving those in need. He also developed and taught progressive bible study curriculum to 3 different area churches, spoke regularly at churches across Lincoln and in Omaha, and was a certified instructor for Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development.
Through his educational and pastoral connections, Ryan began to work for a very large church in the Lincoln area and began learning more about the private security field. Hired on as a Campus Operations Supervisor, he supervised the management of church property and led multiple teams of technicians in the tasks and duties associated with the care, service, and protection of the building and campus. His work included many elements of building and personnel security including event security, secure transportation of funds, point of contact, guest service, monitoring video surveillance, and areas of conflict management.
His passion for the private security field grew and with some training and guidance from the church’s director of Security (an ESI Alum) he decided to move into the field full time. Ryan began his education with Executive Security International and went to work for the Nebraska State Patrol-Executive Protection Division doing uniformed state security. His work includes estate, mobile, and fixed post security at various State properties including: The Governor’s Mansion, the Nebraska State Capitol, The Nebraska State Office Building, The Office of the Chief Information Officer, The State Crime Lab, and State Patrol Headquarters.

He has many other relevant qualifications and training certifications through the Nebraska State Patrol and is continually seeking more. He hopes to begin working in Private Investigation and Protection in the areas of Human Trafficking, and Child abuse soon, and is eager to continue furthering his career in the Executive Protection industry.
